The Journey of Man

Through the wind I hear the cries
of those who told the dreadful lies

As freedom glides through the skies
the truth can be seen in their eyes

As he is - he dies
he needs to make bonds & ties

Now he knows time flies
and there's no use for goodbyes

Many people have gone further than they thought they could
Because someone else knew not only that they could, but that they should

Shop Talk

There’s a time for silence
And a time for talk

To be a sinner
And a saint

But keep in mind - caulk and paint
Will make it what it ain’t

TODD

Todd likes his Grey Goose
With a splash of juice
& he knows it’ll make your girls get loose

When it comes to beer – it’s Heineken
He’ll drink it all night with a mannequin
Or until it’s time to say bye again

Wakeboarding isn’t his forte
Although he’d like it to be one day
We’ll see what happens next May

His mind had an idea it carried
Something that perhaps he wished was buried
What is it? – he loves being married!!!

All I can be to you now is a memory.

Time

He that sets the time for finding the time loses the time he sets
The time he finds, is the time he spends
Tying up the loose ends

But as he goes away – by flies the time and life gets tasted
But think of all the time that gets wasted

Touchdown Mikey

Touchdown Mikey loved to play some football
He’d play any time of year, not just Fall

They’d hand him the ball and that was all
Back of Mike’s jersey was all they saw

Too many touchdowns – they sat Mike out
Whether or not they’d win there was no doubt

Learning to ride a bike

Lori was afraid to loose the training wheels
For fear the she would fall and scrape her heels

But her dad persisted and insisted
She agreed only if his hands assisted

He promised that his hands would not let go
With two wheels she was off, and that was so

She was doing just fine and all was swell
Till she realized dad let go, then she fell

Off the cliff she went, how far, no one knows
In the spot she landed, now the flower grows
